Hardware

Computer

My personal desktop is a DIY build in a Fractal Meshify C case with an AMD Ryzen 5xxx, a NVIDIA RTX 3080, 32GB of RAM and 3TB of SSD storage. It suits gaming nicely as well as development via Windows Subsystem for Linux. However I’m increasingly growing tired of Windows.

My work laptop is a Dell Latitude 7440 running Ubuntu with a 13th Gen Intel i7, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

Monitor

I use a Dell U2520D monitor running at 1440p for programming and gaming with the desktop and occasionally as the singular display for the laptop. It handles both well enough for my uses, and I’m huge fan of the 2K resolution at the smaller-than-usual screen side of 25".
